Welcome To Gidders.com E-mail
Welcome to gidders.com - a site dedicated to poker players who are looking for a way to consistantly build and maintain their bankrolls.

When I first started playing poker over three years ago, I was a losing player, like most people who start.  I played a very weak, tight style and was unable to consistantly make any money.  In fact, when I first started - I probably dropped about $1,000.  I'm glad to say that that has all changed!

Becoming a winning poker player isn't something that happens over night.  It takes a lot of practice, experience - but most of all it takes in depth training.  Which is why I've decided to give you guys an insight into the way I play poker - by allowing you see my hole cards throughout entire SNG's and MTT's.

During the videos, I discuss reasons why I feel it is okay to play certain hands a certain way, why some hands should be folded before the flop,  and talk a lot about overall poker strategy.   I have implimented these strategies, and they have seen me book a 50.65% ROI over 500 SNG's.  What that means is, for every $1 I put in - I am getting back $1.50.  In fact, I started off with $6.04 - and have turned that into $5,000 in just over a month!

Here are my stats from a sample of 500+ consecutive SNG's:

Starting Roll: $200.18
Time: 128 Hours, 30 Minutes
SNG Played: 500
Ending Roll: $5,251.18

1st - 119
2nd - 63
3rd - 54
XXX - 264

ITM - 47.20%
ROI - 50.65%
BUY - $10,366
RET - $15.617
TOT - $5,251
$/H - $41.18
W/L - 79/31

The best part about these statistics is that I am confident that you can have these same success' I have had by following along with my strategies.  I do my very best to convey every single thought I have when I make every bet - to make sure that you can follow along with me and fully understand the theory behind each bet, call, raise and fold.  I will do  everything in my power to help you, the student - win as much money as you possibly can.

Nobody can play perfect poker, because poker is a game of unknown information.  But if we are able to make smart bets, raises, calls and folds - we give ourselves the best  opportunity to win.  If we are to further our understanding of  what these smart plays are - than that's when we are on the right track to success at this great game of ours.

In addition to having access to my hole cards, you will have access to other features of the site including our member only message board. Below is a short list of features:

Article Section

These are articles I have written explaining certain strategies I have on poker.  They range from all topics, from Bluffing to Online Tells, to Four Handed SNG Play.

Video Section

This section will be split into SNG's, MTT's, Heads Up Matches, and Cash Game Strategies.  we like the idea of recording a full session, so that the student can fully see the table dynamics as they unfold, as well as the everyone's table image.  It would be very nieve for me to say that I win every SNG I play - so why would I only post the SNG's where I win? I want to show everyone the hands where you might run into trouble, and give the student ways to possibly avoid them in your own games.

I hope you guys enjoy the site! Thanks!

NOTE: Gidders no longer creates videos or articles as he feels all that can be said in relation to low limit SNG's is available in the 35+ videos in the member area. He's still is active and continues to play poker, just is not involved with training on this site.

You can view his up to date stats on http://www.sharkscope.com under the name: gidders on Poker Stars, you can also see stats from one of his students & owner of this site via: bobby2k5 on Poker Stars. The stats are somewhat a testament of his skill and my stats having studied his videos.

Unbridled Confidence E-mail
One of the most important things you can have at the table is confidence. I don't mean confidence in just your ability as a poker player, I mean confidence in everything. When I get involved in a hand, I am extremely confident in all areas.

My Bad Beat E-mail
When I was playing hockey when I was 8 years old, I played because my friends did, and it seemed like it could be a little bit of fun.  I started off at the lowest level possible and I really enjoyed the game.  In my first year, I was actually runner up for the scoring title in the league!  I had a natural talent for the game, but I was playing with people who could barely skate, and we were 8 friggin' years old.  No big deal.  We'll see what happens.

Calling E-mail
I don't call very often.  I don't think it is the "best" play possible out of the four options the highest percentage of the time.  I think betting is the highest percentage play, of course.  Second would be reraising, third would be folding. Lastly would be calling.

Play Poker As You Would From The Rail E-mail
Making correct decisions at the poker table is important.  Sometimes, it almost seems impossible to hit the raise button or call button because you are scared to death you might lose.  An example would be having half your stack in the big blind, and facing an all in raise with 39o.

A View Into The Mind Of A Donk E-mail
After playing 450 SNG's within a matter of 3 or 4 weeks, I can confidently tell the pocketfives community that I am indeed a winning player.  I don't believe that after this many SNG's, that my results can be chalked up to luck.  In the end, everyone gets dealt the same cards, deals with the same flops, and plays against the same donks.  So why is it so hard to win consistantly?

Bluffing E-mail
I bluff over 99% of the time I play poker. The first thing I need to say before I begin is that you cannot be a longterm, consistant winner at poker if you do not bluff.  You have to bluff to win.  If you can't handle bluffing, than be prepared to be a losing player.  I am 150% convinced that a player cannot be a consistant winner in poker by NOT bluffing.

More Low Limit SNG Online Tells E-mail
Here are a few online donk tells I've discovered.
1.  The Coddle Bet.  It's when a player makes a very enticing bet for you to call, because they know they have a better hand than you.  It's just like them saying "C'mon, call me...I don't have that good of a hand..." They really want you to call to maximize value on the hand.
