A: The poker learning process is ongoing – and we recommend that you constantly work on your game. We also are offering other training methods such as Multi Tabling Sessions, a message new Forum, updated Hand Of The Day section, Guest Speakers (Articles and Videos), and Private 1 on 1 Training ($25 per session).
Q: How many videos will be made available right away?
A: Upon sign up, you will have access to all video. To date, their are of 35+ videos.
Q: What are the Multi Tabling Sessions like?
A: They give students a real time approach to a 4-table session, showing the quick thought processes and strategies it takes to effectively mulittable. They also show how to separate your emotions from your poker strategy, as to combat “going on tilt”.
Q: Can I save the videos to view later?
A. It is against our policy to allow members to download our videos. It is also prohibited to share our videos with non-members. Members who are found to be doing this will have their membership immediately terminated, with absolutely no refund.
Q: Where are the videos?
A: They are located in the top right part of the main screen, under the title “Videos Menu”
Q: I don’t agree with the teachings, are some things being taught wrong?
A: In poker, there is never a cut a dry way to play a hand or situation. I am showing ways that have seen me be successful over hundreds and thousands of SNGs, but I may have played a hand “wrong” in some cases. I am only human :D.
Q: I have a question for one of the Teachers. Where can I reach them?
A: In the Forum, under the appropriate section. Ie) If you have a question for Gidders on the way he played a certain hand, post that question under “Ask Gidders”.
Q: Will there only be Sit N Go Videos?
A: No, there will be Rebuy Tournaments, Freezeout Tournaments, Heads Up Matches and eventually – a section on Cash Game Strategy. We are committed at Gidders.com to rounding all aspects of your poker game.
Q: What does ITM and ROI mean and how do I calculate them?
A: ITM literally means “In The Money” – and to calculate it, simply divide the amount of times you cashed (for SNG’s, came in the Top 3) by the amount of tournaments you played. Eg) You played 20 SNG’s and cashed 9 times – Your ITM would be – 45%.
ROI literally means “Return On Investment” – and to calculate it, simply divide how much money you have won by how much money you bought in for. Eg) You played 10 $10+1 SNG’s ($110 buy in) and won 3 ($135), and lost the rest. Your ROI would be 135 divided by 110 which equals 1.227272 (or a ROI of 22.73%)
